A 1.4-liter MultiAir® Turbo engine, rated at 160 horsepower with 184 ft.-lb. of torque for great flexibility, powers this turbocharged vehicle. A six-speed manual transmission boosts efficiency, while allowing drivers greater control and precision. A unique six-speed dual dry clutch transmission is also optional.
The innovative electro-hydraulic variable intake-valve technology dramatically cuts fuel consumption and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by between 10 and 25 percent.
Rather than reaching for your smartphone, the advanced Uconnect® 5.0 in-car technology enables hands-free calling through Bluetooth-equipped smartphones. The system can also “read” texts received on paired phones* equipped with both Bluetooth and Message Access Profile (MAP). You can even reply to text messages by selecting from a list of 18 pre-defined responses – all by using voice recognition.
